Glass Repair
We do glass repair by grinding, polishing and various surface treatments.  It is possible to rejoin some items by hot work but it is usually done adhesively. Art glass, stemware, cut crystal and stained glass are all repairable.  The degree of success really depends upon the damage and what is expected.  It is seldom possible to achieve a perfect restoration!

Cut crystal's beauty, brilliance and weight belie that it is really very delicate....  A careless bump, a little too much hot water or even a sudden burst of sunlight on a hot summer's day and cut crystal will break...but it's repairable.

We do stemware repair and can easily remove chips, reshape bases and rejoin some stems.  Some hot work can be done but it is usually not feasible particularly  with leaded crystal.
Art glass repair and care requires the greatest of skills and abilities.  Some repairs  are simple and straight forward.  There are many artistic techniques and skills that have been lost to history.
Stained glass repair and restoration is usually very successful.  I can recreate beveled and cut glass pieces, match various surfaces treatments and do some painting.  Matching glass color and texture is usually successful given today's incredible glass selection.  If necessary, searches for an old glass can be done.
This extremely delicate ornament and is one of my favorites.
